A power lift chair combines a powered reclining seat with a lifting motion that raises the chair to assist the user when moving between sitting and standing.

Lift chairs are heavier than standard household recliners and require access to a suitable electrical outlet. The intended location should be cleared before delivery. Calmedi does not move existing furniture.

Calgary Delivery, Setup and Return

Calgary delivery and setup costs $90, and return collection costs $90. The $180 total delivery and return service charge is added separately at checkout when delivery is selected. It is not included in the weekly or four-week rental price.

There is no additional access charge for a main-floor delivery involving two or three entrance steps. An additional access charge applies when the lift chair must be moved to an upper floor or basement.

Extensions, Early Returns, Cleaning and Damage

To request an extension, call Calmedi at 403-663-8777, extension 3, at least two business days before the return due date. Extensions are subject to availability and confirmation.

Rental charges are not refunded for equipment returned early or left unused.

Please return the lift chair clean and in good condition. Additional cleaning charges may apply when required.

Please protect the lift chair from stains, cuts, tears, burns and pet damage, including scratching by cats or other animals. Customers are responsible for damage occurring during the rental period. Repair or replacement charges will be determined after Calmedi inspects the returned chair.
