🚢 Calmedi Optimized Shipping Policy

This policy is designed to be clear and transparent for both local Calgary customers and national/international shoppers.

1. Processing and Fulfillment

  • Order Processing Time: Orders are typically processed and prepared for shipping within 1 to 2 business days from the time the order is placed.

  • Shipping Time: Shipping time begins once your order has been fulfilled, not at the time of ordering. We ship the complete order together unless otherwise specified.

2. Local Calgary Options (High-Priority CRO)

As a Calgary-based company, we offer convenient local options:

  • In-Store Pickup (FREE): You may select "Pick Up" at checkout. Orders are ready for pickup at our NE Calgary location within 1 business day during operating hours.

  • Local Delivery: We offer a flat-rate, local delivery service within Calgary city limits. This option and its fee will be available and calculated at checkout.

3. Canada-Wide Shipping

We seek the most competitive rates for our customers across Canada. Rates are calculated at checkout based on the size, weight, and destination of your purchase.

  • Remote Area Surcharge: Orders shipping to remote locations (e.g., Yukon, N.W.T., Nunavut) are subject to a standard Remote Area Surcharge imposed by our carriers. We will contact you immediately after your order if any unexpected charge is required before shipment.

4. Oversize and Freight Items (Heavy Equipment)

Due to the size and weight of certain equipment, standard shipping rates do not apply.

  • Items Subject to Freight: Items such as hospital beds, lift chairs, patient lifts, ramps, and scooters are classified as freight.

  • Freight Calculation: A Fixed Freight Fee will be calculated at checkout for these items. Note: If the actual shipping cost is substantially lower than the fee charged, we will issue a partial shipping refund to ensure you receive the best possible rate.

5. United States Shipping

We ship lightweight and standard packages to the US via standard carriers.

Oversize/Freight Items: Subject to actual freight costs. We will contact you with the best available quote after checkout, and you may choose to approve the fee or cancel the order.
