Electric Patient Lift Rental in Calgary

Calmedi offers electric patient-lift rentals in Calgary for caregiver-assisted transfers. Rental lift brands, models, dimensions and capacities vary with availability. Call 403-663-8777 before booking to confirm the available lift, user requirements, sling compatibility, access, delivery and total charges.

Rental periods and rates

• Weekly: $100
• Four weeks: $300

A sling is not included and costs extra. Ask Calmedi about available sling types, sizes and pricing. The lift and sling must be compatible and appropriate for the user and transfer.

Delivery, setup and pickup in Calgary

• Delivery and setup: $125 per one-way trip
• Return pickup: $125; both trips are collected together as $250 at checkout when delivery is selected
• Upper-floor or basement access: additional $50 per visit

The floor-access charge does not apply when there are only two or three steps at the main entrance. Call to confirm service outside Calgary and request a quote. Please clear the route and setup area before delivery.

Safe use

Operate the lift only by following its instructions and using a caregiver trained in the equipment and transfer procedure. Confirm that both lift and sling capacities suit the user. A patient lift is for assisted transfers between suitable surfaces, not long-distance transport. Ask a qualified healthcare professional about suitability when needed.

Extensions, returns and cleaning

Call Calmedi at 403-663-8777, extension 3, at least two business days before the due date to request an extension. Extensions depend on availability and confirmation. Rental charges are not refunded for early returns or unused time. Return the lift clean, complete and in good condition; additional cleaning costs at least $25, and repair or replacement charges may apply for damage or missing parts.
