Mepitel® Film is a transparent skin-protective dressing with Safetac® technology, designed to protect fragile and sensitive skin. Its breathable, waterproof film provides protection while allowing you to see the skin beneath.

Features and uses

• Protection for sensitive skin: Helps minimize the risk of skin breakdown.
• Safetac® technology: A skin-contact layer designed for fragile skin.
• Transparent film: Keeps the covered area visible without removing the dressing.
• Breathable and waterproof: Combines skin protection with a breathable film barrier.
• Secondary dressing: Can secure gauze or non-woven swabs, or provide a landing zone for aggressive tapes used to secure devices.
• IV-site protection: Can be used over IV sites when the IV device is separately secured with adhesive tape or sutures.
